At the time, Lift was a fascinating, highly social and immensely enjoyable 4 days in the heart of Europe meeting a diverse collection of interesting folk. Upon much later reflection however, I've realized Lift06 sparked a significant turning point in my life and career. The ideas Stimulated in my mind by Lift06 became a key catalyst for my later co-founding a company based on an ambitious (and much Lift-inspired) vision of the future. I really don't know how you could hope for any more than that from any simple conference. This year though, I'm to try and squeeze in a little more skiing.
