I owned a restaurant in the late 1980's, but left it to pursue technology interests during the technology boom of the 1990's. Basically, I left a job that meant hard work and long hours for another job that meant even harder work and longer hours. My concentration was in consumer behavior and later, in internal communications. I was a self-employed consultant to several Fortune 500 companies, as well as many technology startups. Along the way, I earned degrees in marketing, organizational dynamics (University of Pennsylvania), and psychology. I am currently finishing up a doctoral program in media psychology (Fielding Graduate University). This is my first LIFT conference and am looking forward to meeting with you, learning a lot, and having fun. See you soon!
