I work as a MarketingCommunication specialist at Macaw. Macaw is an ICT company, based in Holland, which specializes exclusively in Microsoft technology. We currently employ 160 people fulltime. I've been in this job since december 2003. Before that I worked in Sydney, Australia while on an extended working holiday (2002/2003). Between 1997 and 2002 I held various IT related jobs at both GetronicsPinkRoccade and Schlumberger/Sema. I hold a Masters degree in Communication Science (Master of Arts, officially) from the University of Amsterdam from which I graduated in 1997. Before I started university I was lucky enough to spend a senior year in Highschool in Pennsylvania, USA. My current interests, professionally, are: online marketing in all its shapes and forms: blogs, Second Life, Adwords, banners, websites and whatever else there is out there.. Also: providing a consistent and appealing 'face to the world' in all the media you use and measuring the results of your actions so you can finetune them and learn from them.
