As a Research Associate at the Beal Institute for Strategic Creativity, Michele Perras focuses on understanding why emerging technologies enhance or enable new forms of empowerment, connection and exchange.

These insights are applied in various areas - to facilitate strategic opportunities for organizations or to develop and implement new learning methodologies in education and industry.

With a background in art & design, publishing, and consulting, Michele studied Material Culture at the Ontario College of Art & Design, Toronto, following her education with an extensive publication and exhibition record. She is fascinated by the creation and transmission of narrative and meaning - threads that encourage social relationships, systems and communication.
