Evangeline Anderson-Rajkumar, a professor in Theology and Women's Studies at the United Theological COllege, Bangalore, India. I am also a board member of Globethicsnet which is a network that is available to all to link up with likeminded people for the purpose of Empowerment and Transformation. I invite you specially to visit www.globethics.net and become a part of Gender Ethics working group which is a space available for those interested in addressing issues of gender and ethics. I am looking at the question: How can anything, even technology, help us to locate and affirm the equal value of the human (man and woman)irrespective of one's colour, caste, race, creed or class. Internet in a way helps to make issues of race, class, caste, religion disappear as what is more important is one's access to knowledge and skills of technology. Can we then engender the programs and policies connected to the availability of technology inour respective countries and educate the subject, regardless?
