Mission statement

• LIFT is a yearly event to promote discussion around the changes and opportunities brought by technology in our society.

Values

• Human, passionate, constructive, critical, open, interactive, accessible and hopefully surprising

Organizers

• • Will treat all participants as guests and contributors, trying to make their stay as enjoyable as possible
• • We will do their best to keep the main presentations clear of self promotion and product pitches if not relevant to the bigger picture
• • Will actively work to bring a large diversity of people and opinions to discuss the chosen themes.
• • Will work on keeping the event accessible while making it financially sustainable

Participants

• • Will bring a curious, open and respectful attitude to the activities they participate in
• • Will try to be present for the whole duration of the event
• • Will provide constructive feedback to the organizers to make the next event better.

Speakers

• • Will use their alloted time slot to share their view on the thing that matters the most to them at the time of the conference
• • Will be present for networking and discussion during the whole event
• • Will provide the organizers with their presentation and accept a Creative Common use of it throughout the years.
