One Minute Worth Living For - A Dream enabled by technology

I have a dream - a dream that can show how really similar we are around the world. A dream that makes it clear to all what are the things we want to live for.

Imagine if I could upload to all mobile phones with camera in the world a software that makes them start filming 1 minute of "movie" at one given time, and then send it on the network - when it is off peak - to one single server (no need to worry about capacity constraints). Imagine that minute to start on Friday 08.08.08 at 08:08:08. Imagine that everyone were to film "One Minute Worth Living For", whatever that means in their life. All of them.

Imagine only 1 in 10 phones can "film". Imagine only 7 in 10 of those are on a network that allows transfer. Imagine only 5 out of 100 of those who can participate actually do. That is 9.5 Million people, 9.5 Million stories, 9.5 Million minutes of unique video input produced (No editing!). That is >150K Hours, > 6500 Days, Almost 950 weeks, 220 months, 18 Years. Imagine a baby born that day could live up to her age of reason each minute a minute worth living for for someone around the world.

It could be arranged to make it happen basically for free. The world would gain a phenomenal Gaia of human consciousness made of uplifting, personal, maybe funny, content on what matters enough to at least one of us to say that is a minute worth living for. It could be useful for millions more. It could be a resource we never had. Not even in our dreams.

I have ideas on how this may happen. I would like to see if there are enough nutheads at Lift 08 to make it happen. For 3 hours, we will brainstorm how.
