I'm a Principal in Nokia Design and focus on design strategy development and innovation grounded on in-depth understanding of people and cultures. Prior to joining Nokia, I was leading the experience design practice at internet agency Iconmedialab. In parallel to my professional activities, I held academic roles teaching and researching usage, design and innovation at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications and at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, and at the University of Siena. My first degree was in Psychology, of the multidisciplinary kind taught in Geneva (Psychology with Biology, Cybernetics, Linguistics, Logics), followed by MSc and PhD in Cognitive Science from Edinburgh University. The subjects I have written about are adoption and usage of digital technologies, communication, automation and user-centered design.
