Bonnie has a very good sense of direction - unless she has a cold. As director of Snap-Shot-City she coordinates a world wide photographic treasure hunt which includes hosting multiple simultaneous international pervasive gaming events, exhibitions and fun fun parties. With an extremely talented group of people scattered across the world, she (and the Snap-Shot-City crew) are focused on building happy, playful and engaged communities on-line and on the ground.
Prior incarnations as artist, bar tender, journalist, landscape architect, backpacker, photographer and jewelry designer provide foundation for her ongoing career as an urban designer and pervasive games developer. Research into place and experience, cultural literacy and community engagement, emergent technologies and pervasive gaming, and a strong belief that fun is good(!) underpin all her work.
Bonnie has recently presented papers at the IVSA Conference in NYC, the Mindtrek Conference in Tampere, the Creative Clusters in London and presented Snap-Shot-City to the Come Out and Play Festival in Amsterdam. In November 2007 Bonnie was named in The Observer as one of the Courvouisier The Future 500 - Britain's brightest and best rising stars. She has lived in a whole lot of places and currently calls east London home.
