The workshop on civil rights

February 1, 2008 - 22:18 — Alexander Finger

Ok, you got me. 2 Participants sign up and we will do a workshop. Fine. I had nothing planned for the weekend anyways!

So here's what I will prepare:

The good
- A glimpse into the european constitution
- Takeouts from some "local" constitutions. The german one, obviously, and the portuguese one (because I like it) and what else I can see.

The bad
- A view on the data retention directive
- A quick glance on how countries implement it

The reality
- A glimpse on some cases in Germany and the UK

Oh one important thing: If you signed up and say: Well, that's not my thing, don't worry. I won't be crying if nobody shows up, I'll post the slides on my blog then.
If however you *are* interested, pass by, I'll try to make it interesting.
